Genuine used items from Japan – please be aware that this item is fragile, old and made from traditional Japanese paper. Due to the vintage character of these goods, some small tears, blemishes etc may be present, however these do not detract from the overall quality and function of them.
Handmade in Japan and with some dating as far back as the 1970s we are proud to offer these traditional Japanese paper lanterns, more commonly known as ‘Chochin’. They are primarily used for interior decoration commonly found in temples and Izakaya and provide a real authentic piece of Japan. These are larger than our Mini Japanese Lanterns found here and are made from traditional Japanese paper. They fold flat and come with a detachable bracket for you to hang wherever you please! You might have also seen these adorning our gazebo at trade stalls!
We highly recommend you purchase a small LED tealight candle to place inside these lanterns for maximum effect at night!
