Part 2 Mezzanine Floor complete and the store is fully kitted out!

saitoworks.store is now open and looking amazing!

John has done an exceptional job on piecing this all together and decorating it all so beautifully. Like stepping into a little part of Japan. Definitely a sight worth seeing.

Not sure if this is a store or a man cave but really enjoyed having a walk around and seeing it all done.

Part 1

Let`s get into it...

This was the job that was sub - contracted to me by Denis Branson/Dainius Zvirblus (Same person) of Love Metal Fabrication when he had promised his client to have it completed when he had no staff to do it.

Rates were agreed, pressure was on as we were already 2 weeks late to start it when I came on board. Working 14 days straight to make sure this was finished on time and often working till late at night ON MY OWN.

Some mistakes were made with some design flaws involving some safety issues and cosmetic imperfections which was down to the engineers making errors on the drawings as well as them being a company based in Europe to design structures without following UK regulations.

Several hours were spent rectifying issues and trying to make it all look nice although several shortcuts were taken by Denis/Dainius who just wanted to wipe his hands clean and get paid.

I really enjoyed working on this however I had to learn the hard way that all my efforts, long hours, weeks without breaks and covering Denis on the weekend by making steel deliveries while he was too intoxicated was all for nothing as he had no intention of paying me or anyone else that worked for him on any of the other jobs and not even fully paying the staff that helped to install this floor.

In the end Denis/Dainius and his team of engineers working from outside of the UK had let down the customer and lost out on the chance to potentially build up to another 20 of these.

As I had already completed everything to the drawings and Love Metal Fabrication was dropped from doing any further work on this mezzanine floor. Other fabricators were called in to place additional railings on the stairs to meet health and safety standards.

As someone who takes a lot of pride in my work and is very passionate about my projects, providing top quality workmanship and ensuring that everything is done correctly and is 100% solid. I stand by this.
